How to Unstake a Property Token on ASX Capital

Unstaking from the yield farm takes one transaction. No lock period, no penalty. Here is what happens to your accumulated $ASX, your monthly distributions, and what your tokens can do next.

ASX Capital (not the Australian Securities Exchange, not the asxcapital.com broker) runs a yield farm at asxapp.com/staking where holders stake property tokens to earn additional $ASX on top of the monthly distributions those tokens already pay. Unstaking is a single transaction from the same page.

How to unstake a property token

Go to asxapp.com/staking. Each property pool shows the tokens you have staked and an Unstake button. Click it, confirm the transaction in your wallet, and your tokens go back to your wallet address. There is no lock period and no penalty for unstaking at any time.

You only need to approve the staking contract once. After that, staking and unstaking are each a single on-chain transaction. Your wallet needs a small amount of BNB for gas.

What happens to accumulated $ASX

The farm adds $ASX to your balance from the moment you stake, accruing per token per day. That balance sits in the pool until you claim it. If you have accumulated $ASX you want to keep, click Claim on the pool card before you unstake. Any amount that has not yet reached your wallet when you unstake stays with the pool and goes to the remaining stakers. You cannot recover it after unstaking.

You can claim at any time, as many times as you like, without unstaking.

When you claim from a property pool, 10% of the $ASX goes to the $ASX pool as a fee for $ASX stakers. The rest reaches your wallet.

How monthly distributions work when you are staked

Property tokens pay monthly distributions in $ASX on a fixed calendar. ASX Capital takes a holder snapshot on the 17th of each month, then pushes $ASX to those wallets on the 21st. All four properties follow this calendar: 400 Marquette (MRQ), Mountain View Apartments (MVA), Greens at Alvamar (GAA), and Brookwood Village Townhomes (BVT).

When a property token is staked, the distribution for that token on the 21st goes into the pool rather than directly to your wallet. It then streams out to stakers in proportion to their holdings through the epoch. When you unstake, any distribution amount that has not yet streamed to your wallet stays with the pool.

Tokens not in the farm receive their monthly distribution directly to whichever wallet held them at the 17th snapshot, with no claim step.

If you plan to unstake around distribution day, be aware that your share of the distribution will still be in the pool as it streams out. Claiming before you unstake is the way to collect what has accumulated.

The $ASX pool has a 30-day unstake delay

The yield farm has two distinct kinds of pools.

Property pools (MRQ, MVA, GAA, BVT): Unstake at any time, no lock, no penalty. This is the case described throughout this page.

The $ASX pool: Staking $ASX to earn a share of every property pool's claims carries a 30-day unstake delay. This is the one structural difference between the two. If you have $ASX staked in the $ASX pool and want to withdraw it, submit the unstake request and your $ASX will be available after 30 days. Property token unstaking is not affected by this rule.

The two pools are separate. Unstaking a property token does not affect your $ASX staking, and vice versa.

After you unstake

Your property tokens are back in your wallet. Monthly distributions continue to any wallet holding the tokens at the 17th snapshot. You do not need to be staked to receive distributions.

You can stake again at any time from asxapp.com/staking. There is no penalty for staking and unstaking at different points in an epoch.

GAA and BVT are still minting at $1.00 par. GAA is Greens at Alvamar, a residential community in Lawrence, Kansas, with a 5.4% target APR at $1.00 par. BVT is Brookwood Village Townhomes, a townhome community in Blue Springs, Missouri, with a 7.3% target APR at $1.00 par. MRQ and MVA are no longer minting at par and trade on the secondary market.

Property tokens trade between holders on the order book at asxapp.com/markets. A sell order fills when a buyer matches it. Fill price depends on the order book at the time of the trade. Your wallet needs BNB for gas on any transaction.

FAQ

Is there a fee for unstaking from a property pool? No fee and no penalty. The only cost is a small amount of BNB for gas on the transaction.

What if I do not claim before unstaking? Any $ASX that has not yet streamed to your wallet stays with the pool. It is distributed to the remaining stakers. You cannot recover it after unstaking.

My tokens were staked at the 17th snapshot. Where did my distribution go? When tokens are staked, the distribution goes into the pool on the 21st and streams out over the epoch. It has not been lost. If you unstake before it finishes streaming, the unstreamed portion stays with the pool.

When does the farm end? No end date is published. The farm runs on 30-day epochs. Current terms are on asxapp.com/staking.

Is GAA or BVT still minting at $1.00? Both are still minting at $1.00 par as of when this page was published. Check asxapp.com/rwa/greens-at-alvamar and asxapp.com/rwa/brookwood-village for current status.

What is the difference between distributions and reflections? Monthly distributions are paid in $ASX from the properties, pushed to the wallet that held the tokens at the 17th snapshot. Reflections are paid in USDC continuously from the 4% $ASX sell tax, to any wallet holding $ASX. Two separate mechanics, two separate currencies, two separate schedules.
